Good brake pad options for SQ7/SQ8

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Looks like it’s been awhile since there has been a post about upgraded brake pads. What are the options. I not impressed with the OEM pads performance and they have way too must dust given the lack of performance.
Are there any ceramic pads or higher performance upgrades available other than EBC? Strange to see such limited options for higher performance models.
I see Akebono offers rear brake pads but not front lens (that’s not a real option). Omaha eto think someone is making a good upgrade. Any advice?

There's a post on Audiworld - Dynamic Friction F&R ceramic brake pads - I am running them now. Loving them, the dust is almost non existent, pads are great.

Wow the full price special. $105.84 on lithium grease is offensive. One tube is enough for multiple brake jobs but still $52/unit is unbelievable. The bolts and screws are half price on parts.audiusa.

if Audi offered the Dynamic Friction pads as a Ceramic Low Dust option they could probably charge $1000 per axle. The difference in dust is like 90+% reduction in dust. My wheels look clean for weeks. They're like $60 per axle

What's crazy is that I called my local Volkswagon Dealership and their cost was 2/3 what Audi quoted and exactly the same parts. Maybe the hack is doing brakes, oil changes, and alignments/rotations at VW and more mechanical/engine issues and scheduled service at Audi.
