Pass emissions thoughts/experience? (K04, HFC, stock tune)

Hey all, working through emissions... has anyone successfully passed emissions with a K04 setup, keeping the HFC in, but on a stock tune? My first test failed all the actually emissions reading, the sniff part, but passed all readiness and equipment. So I'm not sure if that's because the cat is dead (170k on it) or if no HFC cat will pass even on a stock tune.

what year is your car and is it 1.8 or 2.0

HFC don't last long. Chances are you just need to replace it and you'll be fine.
