Sorry, thought it was implied you shouldn’t be breaking your local laws and regulations; I guess I should have mentioned that in my first response. Not every state is going to restrict it but yes probably a lot of states do.

To me, that's always implied. No worries tho. I'm not one to be big brother. We are all adults. But if need be, I think as enthusiasts, we should be good to each other and remind the "family" of the risks.

I went to my favorite spot in Cinnaminson the other day and was informed their E85 pump was "closed". Not sure what that is all about, but hopefully it's temporary.

Has anyone ordered E85 online from say Sunoco or other competitors? It's labeled as E85/99 race gas. Seems easy enough. Let me know what you guys think. See the link:

    That is $17+ a gallon.

At the pump it is around $3+ over here.

Yeah very expensive no doubt. I think it's a purer blend.

Yeah, I think it's common for E85 to be in the mid to low 70%'s in the winter. I usually base my calcs off E75 when I fill up. It's really not a huge difference in the amount you put in the tank and it's probably more realistic. I have never test my station yet.

Can I ask how often you drive your TTRS or how long would it take for you to get through a tank of E85?

I’m putting down around 1000whp with 1700cc port injectors and I push the car. When I fill the tank the range on the dash will be under 200 miles. I think it’s settling around 190 miles now.

Here’s 3/4 of a tank after a couple pulls today.

I get some pretty good reactions from people. The average person doesn’t know much or anything really about these cars, especially when they’re modified. There are obviously faster cars out there, but I haven’t come across anything while daily-ing it that has come close to keeping up with me. The only thing that has put up a fight was an M3 and I still left him behind.

Yeah I assume it did. I want to say they can do a low 5 second, possibly high 4 second, 60-130 on the stock turbo. I was just cruising at probably 40mph and he tried to fly past me but I put a few a few car lengths on him fairly quickly after I stomped on it as he got close to my rear bumper. Pretty sure there isn’t a stock sport bike that is faster, this is an 8 second car on the street.

Amazing....Didn't know the m3/m4 could be that quick on stock turbo. I'm running mid 5s with my hybrid on E85. Guess I'll need to go full frame if I want to beat them.

Wow yeah didn't know the M3 was that potent. Glad you sat him down and have him a good talking to. I bet he was surprised to say the least

For comparison, back in mortal land, I could only manage high 6s 60-130 on E85 with weight reduction. I'm going to phear those bimmers now, lol. For the crowded and patrolled freeways around here about 500whp at 3080lbs is plenty for ya-ya's (never thought I'd say that, but that age thing...). Cars are so stoopid fast now, King of Hill only lasts a few months it seems.

    Ya yas.. ol fart.
Yeah I can agree on how fast cars are today. 11 second anything was a monster back in the 90s. I mean you had to spend much thousands to get there in your Cam/Stang/BIrd or whatever. And forget imports other than Supra or RX7 TTs.

Heck, the SUVs are in the 9s on pretty much just a tune, nevermind the M3s.

Man, I remember back in 2017-2018 when the MK2 R8 V10, 8V RS3, and MK3 TTRS all first came out for sale in the US. I had such high hopes for the 'Audi Sport' brand at that time but it seems they've just gone on a gradual down hill since then and seem to be noticeably lagging behind BMW M and Mercedes AMG now. I don't know if it was always like this but BMW seems to have a strong edge in performance compared to Audi and the design language of the new Mercedes AMG cars just seem to far surpass what Audi is offering aesthetically. I understand the eventual need to completely electrify but I feel like Audi tried a little too hard to be the 'pioneer' of complete electrification the past several years.

In my perception after owning many BMWs and Audis (Porsche too), BMW has always edged towards Sport, more so from the 90's-2000's. They are still doing that now (thankfully). At first I kinda dug BMW's odd designs with my old Z3 Coupe (The clown shoe) and M Roadster, the 3 series was sharp. Audi's were a step down in sportiness (over all driver feel), but still above the geriatric MBZ offerings. The real Audi Quattro was a hoot to play with, but they were heavy and sloppy (suspension). Then BMW went weird with their interiors (old BMW interiors are the best IMO) and funky body folds/creases. Changed from curves to a block of cheese. I appreciated the later Audi interiors, they had gotten better with suspension, power was always meh, but they were still curvy. With times and tastes in interior/exterior changing I hopped into a TT RS (the ultimate Golf R =), last of the sporty Audis of that generation. It had the best combination of power/tuning/weight/size for me. Nice to see the new 8Y has improved just about everything. The DNA of the big four, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes still seems to hold. Porsche pulled a semi hat trick with a Sporty yet comfortable experience over distance. BMW competes more with Porsche, Audi with MBZ imo. Owners complaining of BMW's harsh ride in the Ms didn't understand what they were buying. Audi goes for a more compliant ride, good for stock, little squishy. I've not been in a late model MBZ, but I checked out after the Star Wars style dashboards, lol.
