Before y’all start in…. The B6 A4/S4 Sedan ended in the 2005 (Dec 2004) model year.

HOWEVER… The B6 Cabriolet ended in the 2006 (Dec 2005) model year. Source: my local Audi dealer’s service dept. in Chantilly, VA. Sept 2024.

Does anyone else have this particular year and model of S4 with a 4.2L V8?
