What's the downside to using 2 of these? I will know upon receipt whether or not they are well constructed. I know that the vast majority of items like this, such as many iitems from Mahle Behr, are sourced from China nowadays, so why wouldn't I spend $200 vs $500+??? Thoughts?

Lmao!! Seems risky. I try to avoid being the 'it's a nice car, don't buy cheap parts' guy but idk if that's worth the risk for such a part. FCP sells brand name Mahle for $50 more and it's warrantied for life. Bet you can find deals on ebay too.

Even if Mahle has these made in China, they probably have a decent quality control. These are probably the rejects. I'm with q5 Dave, get them from FCP, don't burn up your engine.

You see, this is why I ask. Whether or not they are of lesser quality, basically it isn't too much of an upcharge to get a lifetime warranty, so thank you for the advice, this is what I will do. If it was Audi prices I was having to pay, I'd take my chances on the CH stuff. THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD ADVICE!
