    Cam chain tensioner leaking ?

    Possible for the cam chain tensioner to leak from at the bottom ?

    It doesn't look like is sealed really good to the head.

    I’ve had one where the o-ring on the solenoid was hard and crusty and leaked down the front of the engine. Put a new o-ring in and stopped it. I’d try that first before anything else.

    It’s definitely torqued down tight.
    I don’t see any trail running from where the o ring would be on the other side.

    Just looks like there is oil on the whole tensioner.

    Yeah, after some thought, I’m not too sure that the tensioner can leak from there. It’s gotta be from somewhere else.
