2016 RS7 Performance Ceramic Rotors: What pads?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
just had my brake pad warning come on today; haven't taken the wheels off to check if it's a loose wire, if it's a glitch, or if the pads are actually low.

Car has 75k miles on it, 2016 RS7 Performance with ceramic rotors

given the cost of the rotors, i assume you don't need to change the rotors with the pads.

OEM pads run ~1k USD for fronts, another 1k for rears, roughly. Is there any other solution than OEM? and if so, any links, or part numbers?

    Same question from me!
    According to this thread: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...rformance-2016
...the Brembo pads work, about $100 for fronts and $100 for rear.

    Front, Brembo: P85175N
    Rear, Brembo: P85151N

(I'm up in Denver, Colorado, hit me up if you find a shop to do it!)

i'm not sure those brembo pads work, i think those pads are carbon ceramic, yes, but not for the carbon ceramic rotors.

turns out i don't need them, it was just a brake sensor wire that got cut rather than anything wrong with the pads or rotors.

as for changing pads, i'd have no problem doing it myself if it were necessary; i do most of my own work on my RS7P.
