I'm exploring options for a failed oil pump on my 2.0T.

Is the B7 A4 short block the same as the 8P A3 short block? A whole engine ass'y is a couple thousand $$. But a short block is a couple hundred $$. My thoughts are to swap out just the block to save some cash
