NSFW Sites triggered during email change

When updating my email address earlier this week, multiple times NSFW sites opened in new tabs when clicking the various boxes and buttons in the email update page. I was eventually able to change my email but it looked like there was a bug on the page which was creating new NSFW tabs when clicking in various areas of the page.

Can you let us know what browser and device you got this on? We've received one other report about it and have been trying to track it down. It only seems to happen under very specific circumstances.

Several of us have attempted and continue to be unable to replicate this issue.

Do you use the full version of the site or the mobile version/skin?

I have had NSFW site triggered when clicking the user name box to log in.
I use Chrome in Incognito mode on MacOS.

So far, 100% reproducible...

Prerequisite: All Incognito windows must be closed.

Steps:
1. Open new Chrome incognito window
2. Navigate to Audizine
3. Clicking anything on the site results in the NSFW content.

I also tried Safari and was able to reproduce it the first time going to audizine. Closing out Safari and restarting and trying again right away did not reproduce it. Waiting for awhile (maybe 5 minutes, IDK, didn't time it?) and then closing Safari and restarting I was able to reproduce the issue.

EDIT: I just tried with Safari on iOS and was able to reproduce it there too.

Just had this happen on mobile as well.

The url redirect is creepy-frame and visible in inspector mode on windows. Not able to find dev console on mobile. I can reproduce following the steps above.

Does not happen for me on a PC, but on my android phone every time I click on "Forums", i get the porn site pop up.

It happens to me on links when I am not signed in and have privacy settings turned on. I'm guessing it has to do with the advertising layer which is added to generate revenue/encourage people to join. It's almost like they're trying to punish people who prevent ad tracking.

Example:
First, crank up your privacy settings.
* In Safari, go to Settings > Privacy. Turn on prevent cross site tracking and hide your IP address.
* In Chrome, launch an incognito window.

Links don't send you to NSFW when signed into Audizine:
1. Sign in
2. Browse to this thread: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...luid-reservoir
3. Click the link in the 6th message.

Result: Audizine article

When not signed in, clicks spawn NSFW advertising
1. Sign out
2. Browse to this thread: https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...luid-reservoir
3. Check to make sure no one is looking over your shoulder
4. Click the link in the 6th message.

Result: Spicy advertising.

I don't have this issue on AudiWorld or PassatWorld. Never had it on various science fiction fan forums either. It f***ing feels like I'm being hazed or something here. I just want to buy Audi Tradition parts for my 1999 Audi A6, not be part of the boyz club.

I'm using Waterfox browser v. G6.0.20 on MacOS 10.13.6 High Sierra. None of my browser/OS are updatable on my personal system and I don't want to find out the hard way this pr0n shows up on the company computer or infects my newest machine with malware.

Still doing it. Work laptop (thanks), home pc, and phone. It happens basically everytime. Hard to believe it cant be reproduced.

My my Audi is up on Cars and Bids and i can't link to my build log here, as it happened to them as well when I was submitting the car. Shockingly, they seem to care enough to not want to be associated with random porn pop-ups. Audizine seems ok with it.

Ok this issue is crazy, and we need to track the source of it. It is not coming through the ads, but we can't tell where it is coming from. We're going to need some clues, and I had the idea that we *might* be able to discover the source using Advally's (the ad company we use) reporting tool. It is designed to capture a full browser session and send it to the company, which would also tell us if it is coming from the ads but more importantly if someone can catch this it will help.

It'll bring up a small icon in the bottom right of the screen that is stylized Purple V in a circle. You can click that and send a report of what you saw, which will capture the entire page and all the activites that were injected. It could really help us figure this out.

I turned on the tracking and submitted two reports.
I tried the method in post 6 of this thread using chrome on my desktop, but I could not reproduce it there.
Using post 11, I was able to reproduce it twice, but not again.

Got it to do it a few more times in various ways and submitted a total of 4 reports, hope that helps.

Yes it's happening with me also. I got a brand new computer a few weeks ago and when I logged into Audizine, a porn page popped up. Some time went by and I guess my login had timed out where I had to log in again this morning. I clicked the login button and wouldn't you know, I got redirected to another porn site. I am using Mozilla Firefox, version 133.0 (64 bit). This sucks!

This has not happened over the last week, though i've halted using Audizine almost entirely since the issue started. I typically browse on a work machine and have zero tolerance for this. Is user data compromised considering you have malicious redirects embedded on your site? This feels worth a third party reviewing and helping you guys get under control.

I just did a lot of poking around logged out on edge. I can't get the session tracker to work in edge for some reason, but when not logged in if I click the "login" button in the top left, on the next page when I click the box to enter my username, it opened a new window. Norton blocked it so I don't know exactly what it was going to be. Norton says it is aff.happyescaf.org

Update: I got the session tracking to work. When I tried to click on the purple V, I got the porn pop up. I submitted the report.

Definitely not fixed. In edge, if not logged in, anywhere I click on the page opens a porn pop up the first time. If I clear history, it does it again, clicking anywhere on the page. I was mostly on the login page.

Not sure if it was porn but on chrome on my iPad last night I had a new window open that Apple blocked or it wouldn’t load. It was trying to get me to download or activate a third party vpn

Just submitted an updated report. It only happens if you're not logged in, so seems to be something in the code that turns off some advertising for members versus non-members.
