Never thought the day would come, but life and interests change, so I am listing my B5 A4 Avant for sale. I have driven this car sparingly in the last 3 years, and I would rather see it go to an enthusiast home than continue to sit. I have owned this car since December of 2014, and I'm the third owner of this car. The car is currently located in the Madison, WI area. Asking $6500 OBO, no hurry whatsoever to sell, and not interested in any trades. Only listing here in hopes this car goes to a good home.

    -Ian Nelson/K0mpressd Stage 1 (18PSI) ECU
-ICM delete with FSI coil packs, 3D printed spacers
-Cone filter with Blinktek heat shield
    -034 Motorsports High-Flow Cat
    -Unknown 3" inch exhaust
-KW V3 coilovers (very smooth ride)
-B6 A4 aluminum front uprights and rear lower control arms (needed for BBK conversion, supposedly makes for a slightly wider front track, plus weight savings)
-D2 S8 (similar to 993TT) front calipers with Apikol brackets
-B5 S4 rear calipers with Apikol brackets
-EBC Yellow pads on all 4 corners
-B7 S4 18" 5 spoke wheels with Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires (~50% life on the tires)

    -Exterior (5/10)
    -Interior (8.5/10)

    The Bad
-The clearcoat of this car has seen better days. The roof, passenger door, and passenger fender will need attention. I have an uninstalled Volcano Black passenger fender with good clear coat. The door is not as bad and may be able to be buffed back to life. The roof WILL need paint. Hood, driver side, quarter panels, bumpers, and hatch are normal.
-small rust bubbles developing on the bottom of the doors. Haven't poked through the paint yet.
    -headlights could use a polish
    Handful for electrical gremlins...
-Some kind of parasitic battery drain that I have not been able to solve. It is likely a bad ground related to any of the issues listed below, but I no longer have the time or space to dig into it much further. The car is perfectly fine if driven daily, but the battery will die if it sits much longer than a day or two. If this will be your daily driver, you would likely not be bothered.
-LCD screen intermittently works (less often than not lately). LCD is in excellent shape with full pixels when it does work.
    -Power seats do not work
    -only the rear speakers work
-Rear wiper does not work (rather, it does work but does not shut off, I pulled the fuse so it would not run 24/7). Some Avant owners delete these anyway.
-Key fob does not work, battery died a couple years ago and it never bothered me enough to go into the dealership to have it reprogrammed.
-Airbag light on for driver's side curtain airbag sensor
-Headliner is starting to sag again since being redone.
-Brake pedal feel is longer than normal since doing the BBK. The car still stops very hard, and there should be no reason for concern here otherwise. It likely just needs a master cylinder upgrade to accommodate the bigger brakes.
-Emergency brake sticks, I never use it
-Very small crack in the bottom corner of the windshield, not even visible from inside car. May be repairable.

The professional pictures are a few years old, the others are current photos that more accurately reflect the condition of the car. Obviously, the car is not in perfect condition, but there are a lot of really high-end parts here, and it is a very good base for someone that has the means to return it to its former glory. If I had somewhere to stash this car away and come back to it in several years I would keep it, but that is looking increasingly unlikely. More pictures/information available by request.

Always loved this car! Volcano is such a rare and fun color, I used to have one myself. What's next? Just drive the Q7? Or are you getting another fun car?

Just need to go down to one car, whether it's the Q7 or I sell both and get something entirely different remains to be seen. I have the crack addiction that is open wheel racing for my fun car!

And with this bump, asking $6k obo.
