Looking for a little help on a really odd issue.
First off, battery voltage was dropping very low via my scan tool and multimeter. Battery was from 2017 and the car has 105000kms so I replaced it with an AGM battery and coded it.
Similar issue happened where I would drive for 5-10 minutes and it would drop to around 12 +/- 0.5 and continue dropping. Took it to a shop as they believed it was alternator and alternator regulator. Got that done today, now it is better slightly, where it will stay around 12v sometimes dropping to 11.5 and sometimes raising to 13 randomly then quickly dropping down again. Energy management is active on car. Steering codes pop up when it reaches right below 12v then goes away.
Very much at a loss what issue could be. Scanned with obd11 and didn’t see any important codes related to the issue. Some people online say maybe the battery management module? But again no codes.
Help would be greatly appreciated.
