B7 S4 Tiptronic transmission / Loud squealing noise.

I usually just read the forums, but now I have a problem that has me stumped and my mechanic as well.
The transmission is making a super loud squealing noise and can't seem to diagnosis the issue. Mechanic mentioned that these tiptronics can't be rebuilt and most people just swap to a 6MT. They have already tried to replace it with another used tiptronic and it makes the same noise, but they are certain that the 2nd transmission must be faulty as well. They believe the failure is from the pump, but can't be replaced by itself and essentially only can get a used one, so why wouldn't you just switch whole transmission out, hence that is what they did with no luck and the same noise continues. They are great and have been communicating with me every step of the way, but we are at a loss.
I am told that everything looks good and don't see any stress or odd wear anywhere. Torque converter, valves, and flywheel is good.
This noise is from idle to 2,000rpms, anything above that it goes away. The noise sounds like a mix between a super bad slipping serpentine belt and dry gears, if that makes sense. It also runs great still. I am a pretty basic person when it comes to working on the car, but love my S4 Avant. Hoping the Audizine peeps can provide me some guidance.

U sure it isn't the draw back of the starter, you will not be the first who has that and hits the flywheel.

The 6hp19 can be rebuild, gary ferraro does it and is working in the usa.
