BWT noise at startup and after oil is warm

There's a clunky rattle for 2 seconds at cold start and goes away until the oil is warmed up at idle. Its more audible at 800-900RPM (when coasting in neutral).
I suspect balance shaft just based on how big it sounds and how subtle it is. It's been like this for a little over a year. Just tried to check with an articulating endocam the shafts mid oil change and couldn't get between the pan and shaft assembly near the far end.
However I did not see any metal shavings.
To actually inspection I'll have to pull the subframe and oil pan and which is a huge pita.
Just wondering what other people think it could be.
I have a shitty recording from my phone but I'll try to get a better one with my shotgun mic.

Sorry forgot to incl recording but it's pretty shit anyway. Any theories or suspicion would be helpful. Or any tests I can do to push on certain things to make it more pronounced. I'm thinking a garden hose would be a good stethoscope. Lmk your thoughts.
