1999 V8 S6 fuel pump not running, will crank but not start 00668 - Short to ground

Hey, I have an Audi S6 4.2L V8 -99 that won't start. It cranks, igniting on starting gas. Central locking, door lights work. Fuel pump not running. All 4 pins on the fuel pump wire connector has contact with ground! I have tried forcing the fuel pump to run with a 12V battery. Fuel pump runs but engine still won't start. Have replaced the fuel pump, same problem persists.

Fuse on driver's side by the ECU box(?) (40A?) - OK
There's also one relay in this box and it's OK.

    Relays tested:
    373 - OK
    204 - OK
    370 - OK
    372 - OK

    Error codes:
    00668 - Terminal 30 - Short to Ground
    01560 - Passenger Door Connection
01561 - Incorrectly Connected, Rear Left Door
01562 - Incorrectly Connected, Rear Right Door

    Modules:
    Code: 04640
    Serve Station Code: 11111
    VAG Part Number 1: 4B0962258E
    VAG Part Number 2: Zentralverri
VAG Part Number 3: eg., DWA D32

    Code: 00002
    Serve Station Code: 02325
    VAG Part Number 1: 4B0951173
    VAG Part Number 2: Innenraumueb
VAG Part Number 3: erw. D03

Due to the three last error codes I'm thinking that some cable that goes from the door to the inside of the car has been worn and is shorting to ground. Just a wild guess. I'm kinda stuck here with the troubleshooting... I'm also thinking about removing the driver's side floor mat to see if there's a water damaged box under there.

You’re probably going to struggle with experience from us US folks. We never saw an S6 in 1999. We only got S6 avants in 2002-2003.

Where are you based? I could fire up ElsaWin and see if they list any troubleshooting. I’m imagining your right hand drive, yeah?

In the mean time, have you tried jumping the fuel pump relay (372) to see if the pump will run that way?

(Picture of my Allroad relay panel when I was draining old bad fuel out)

Also, the terminal 30 short to ground is indicating to me that your battery is dead or weak. Have you addressed that? I don’t believe the fuel pump primes until you’re cranking so maybe you don’t have enough voltage to get everything powered on?

Is any of this helpful? I know it’s for a 2.7, but I’d imagine they’re similar.
