    High pressure fuel values

High pressure fuel values are erratic, car has good low pressure fuel and getting a P053f fuel pressure too low at cold start. Checked pressures with 106 in vcds and high pressure was okay at idle around 40 bar. On load driving car doesn’t make any high pressure. Unplug the high pressure and the low is making 8 bar and I also checked it manually. Also weird thing is different pumps make it act different. Current pump on it isn’t even making any, another new one made half of what it should. So the erratic being of it makes me think it’s not the camshaft. How is high pressure fuel regulated? Any kind of insight helps as I need to come to a conclusion
