Hey what’s up. I know this is a subject that’s been touched on before. For some reason every thread I’ve looked at and pics I feel like it doesn’t pertain to my engine. It’s a 2009 S5. Manufacture date is august of 09. so it’s the older style 4.2. I have the all metal intake manifold with the flapper actuators with the arms. A few months ago I bought the JHM intake spacers for the 4.2. After purchasing the Jackal tune I noticed they had flapper delete tune. I’ve pulled the flaps in the heads but getting the ones in the intake manifold I can’t seem to find the “how too” on. Everyone keeps talking about a rod that goes straight through and you pull it and they come out. It looks like on my intake that the rod and flaps are all one piece. If anyone has any info on getting these things out it’d be greatly appreciated.
