Is the 8J TT RS Rear Diff Considered an LSD?

I have to replace my rear diff and bevel box fluid and wondering if I need the LSD variety. Motul's oil selector says I do, but other websites say their regular Gear 300 (non LS version) also meet the G 052 145 "spec".

There are also other companies that recommend the non-LSD variety, like Ravenol.
