Hello all, love the site, been lurking for a long time and figured I'd post.

My 16 S3 Auto has a very faint whine in 5th gear specifically, when downshifting to 4th as soon as 4th engages nothing, and when shifting to 6th almost completely gone. No shifting issues but I am thinking it's one of the tapered roller bearings on the end of the shaft. Do 4th, 5th, and 6th share the same shaft/end bearings?

Hard to look these things up online.
