    Big turbo oil return?

Hey guys, looking for some advice regarding my 1.8t big turbo build.

I've got a journal bearing T3/T4 turbo with a .065" restrictor and 1/2npt to 10an oil return line. I was having issues with smoke out the exhaust with my previous return line, and after updating the line to what you see in the images, it solved that problem. However, I'm still getting some oil pushing through the seals into the manifold, leading to smoke out of that area. Compression is healthy and I've got a catch can pulling vacuum.

I am suspicious that the turbo seals are bad, but just wanted to see if this line was acceptable.

    Thanks.

    Update:

I removed the restrictor on the turbo and the problem seems to have been solved, which doesn't make much sense to me but I'll take it.

restrictor on ball bearing turbos only. that I know of anyway. journal bearings have to have flow and pressure.
