Unfortunately, I do sit a little higher than OEM and I would prefer to sit slightly lower. However, I did re-use a Bride floor mount with sliders that came off a RS3 so I was thinking that was why I sat a little higher but I did see the thread about aftermarket seat height being an issue even with floor mounts designed for the TT 8S.

    Really?
I'm surprised, I would have thought aftermarket seats would sit a lot lower compared to OE seats.

Got a little distracted with a cross country move; not to mention the car has been at the shop since March to fix a few things. Found out the source of my false knock was from 3 cracked pistons and a loose flywheel. Either way, I’m about to wrap this project up soon. I’m still getting a code for the passenger seat because I believe I damaged the pad when I removed it. The good news is, SC Skunkwerks will have a cheap solution very soon and I’ll be picking that up. Last step of this project will be installing the new harnesses I just picked up.
