    What is this module?

It lies behind the pocket on the passenger side of the trunk (hidden behind plastic in this picture) and has three cables (circled) going into it. The grey connector came disconnected in my new to me 14 B8.5. When I try to turn off the soundaktor via VCDS or do an auto scan, the A9 (structure borne something) module is unreachable and I'm wondering if that could be the cause.

Also, is the coiled cable OEM? I'm guessing not, but I can't see where it comes from or goes to. The car came with an aftermarket sub, but it is connected to the stock wiring.

Its the rear camera module, looks like there was a problem with the grey fakra cable and someone re-wired it. Normally there is a grey and green connection there. The coil of cable is the replacement cable. I assume the rear camera works?

The camera does work so that makes sense. Thanks!

Edit: I did a little more digging to see where the coiled cable goes to and from and it goes from the top fakra connector on the module into the cover on the hinge of the trunk, so it looks like it is a replacement cable for the backup camera. Still curious what the third connector at the bottom of the module is that doesn't have anything plugged into it though. I assume the unplugged cable must be the original defective backup camera cable.
