    old style A/C pressure sensor?

Hey guys, I’m replacing my a/c pressure sensor but it appears maybe I have a different style? It’s OEM - P/N is 4F0.959.126.A but when I ordered that same number online, it’s a different design….

Here’s a comparison pic to the new one.

The threads on the new sensor are further more recessed and it won’t install

I’m also having trouble finding an exact replacement for the one I have…. It’s seemingly difficult to find a new one, or even a used one.

What’s the deal here? I thought about shaving the new one shorter so I can install it but it may need to be perfectly calibrated so that it activates the plunger.

    My current / old sensor:

It does look like there are a couple of variants when I search that part number. I couldn’t find one that looked exactly like your original. But there do seem to be 2 different styles that vary in both the threaded part and also the connection part.

Manufacturer sent me the wrong part number, correct part number on box... even though it's not stamped on the part itself, I got a new one locally and it's different length.

    end thread, lol
