Hello everyone, I just purchased a 2018 s4 B9. This is a car that I am wanting to gift to my son. However, Before handing it over I want to make this thing look as badass as possible.. He has grown up seeing my M3's and AMG's and I usually have my vehicles looking evil.. This is my first Audi and I am completely in the dark right now about what the do's and donts are and where to find good places for parts. Currently the car has 108K. Mechanically everything has been done besides the thermostat coolant part and the Oil filter housing which will be completed next week. I also plan to give everything a flush ( transmission, diff, brakes) and replace bushings in the front. My buddys over at Solo motorsports checked the car out before purchasing it and we did the oil change the other day, went with LM oil. They also installed a stage 1 tune which honestly made the car come to life.
Stuff about the car:
-Only two pervious owner
-all regular scheduled maintenance completed at Audi
-Oil changed every 5K
-Brakes replaced at 90k
-Grey with red interior (has the sport Diff :)))))
-car has been bone stock last owner was a elder gentleman who babied the car.
Things i need help with:
-I would like to swap out the stock grill and change it up to something aggressive.... Honey comb grill from RS4 is what i think is the look i am going for. I would like also to have some sort of lip for the front spoiler.
-Wheel spacers, I need to get this car to be more flush with the fender...... I think i researched enough to go with 10mm front 12mm for the rear, but any recommendations are welcome.
-intake upgrade, I am looking for a cold air intake to hopefully bring the turbo sound up. I am totally fine with purchasing a used one or if someone has any recommendations. Car isnt going to be a show car so i looking for the best bang for the buck.
-turbo inlet piping?? is that necessary? if it is going to improve the sound of the turbo then hell yes but would like to hear from one of yall.
-obviously the stock car is sitting slightly too high for my liking.... however, I purchased a S4 for it to drive like a S4 and i feel like changing the springs is going to lower the car obviously but probably lower the ride quality. Does any one have recommendations on how to lower the car with out disturbing the ride quality?
-Any other recommendations please let me know. I want this car to be a suprise for my son and blow his mind with this. Hes a good responsible kid and he has spent many days with me on the track so he is a driver.
