So my Audi A8 2011 ever since i got it has this extremely weird and annoying key issue. Note that I’ve replaced the battery twice of the key. The car will lock, unlock or open the trunk everytime however it will not recognize the key to turn on the ignition very oftenly takes it a couple of tries for it to recognize EVEN if i keep the key on the designated key holder it still takes a couple of tries to make it work. It’s extremely annoying. There are no such codes related to the key in the scan codes.

Theres one code terminal 30 - 3 open circuit under central electronics followed by two front seat vents codes but nothing really else.

Should i replace the antenna behind the key designated area on the dash?. If the key had an issue I believe the car would also have trouble locking or unlocking at times but it works everytime
