Angry BAD VIBRATION only when applying gas.

as the title states i recently purchased a 2007 a4 quattro that has a very bad vibration whenever trying to accelerate. The vibration is in the car not the steering wheel. if you let off the gas the vibration stops. if you push the clutch in the vibration stops. does not vibrate at idle. I have been reading towards the axles or possibly the dual mass flywheel. I am seeking any advice on finding out how to diag between the two. ive also rear about the motor mounts/ snub mount but i have checked those and seem to be fine. Thanks for any help guys

I would check to see if PO installed aftermarket axles, be easy to check.
I tried a new Cardone axle ones, and its caused a tight vibration on acceleration.
    Wound up rebuilding old one.
