Looking for some help - S5 with only 61K and out of nowhere, throws these codes with orange blinking warning light of “transmission malfunction.” Went into limp mode after trying to leave an intersection shortly thereafter.

Thought maybe just electrical (also threw TPMS and engine light), so replaced the battery which was at 25% capacity. Fine for 30min of driving then RED transmission malfunction.

Had it towed to the dealer and of course after trying to get in for 10 days, their solution is a whole new transmission based upon no communication with a speed sensor in the gear box. They said they cannot/will not service transmissions.

I see some used ones online…is that likely my only option? Other thoughts?
