    Aris3.2,

Here's a pic of the screws:

    screws2.jpg

No idea what part number they might be. Possibly they are included with the "suspension lug"?

Here's a pic of how it looks where the "suspension lug" mounts and screws into the door sheet metal:

You'll have to make that hole in the window trim if you don't get the A rev trim, part 20:

After taking the measurements (using a ruler, caliper lacks a battery right now), I think it is the screw at the end of the ETKA list, and the ECS pic must just be wrong. The entry is where that screw should be listed.

    https://audi.7zap.com/en/usa/audi+a4.../8/861-861000/

    "ST4,2X13-R", N10656602

Or maybe the screw they used in Aug 2008 has been replaced by that one.

Besides, who doesn't want a Lamborghini part in their Audi:

Imagine yourself now having to go to the Lamborghini dealership to buy $3 dollar worth of screws🤦🏻*♂️

Smac770 I’ve been looking everywhere to find the trim with the hole and honestly i can’t seem to find anything used.
The dealers price of $101 for that piece of plastic is just crazy...i am about to give up on this project and sell the door cards..
The cheapest price I’ve found is this one
    https://m.oemvwshop.com/8k5867671a-4...lack-p1159047/
But it says on the bottom it fits only avant unsure why....and there’s no picture.

I'd email these guys. They are good about answering questions. See if they can confirm these "A" parts have the opening in them.

    https://wolfautoparts.com/upper-door...2a-153221.html

The rear door glass shape is different for the sedan vs the wagon.
When you look at whole vehicle stuff, 8K2 is the B8 A4 sedan and 8K5 is the B8 A4 avant. But when looking at parts, 8K5... is sedan specific stuff and 8K9... is avant specific stuff. Maybe the lister is confusing all of Audi's mishmashmess.

Notice the fourth pic, it lists both part numbers. I think this is the problem, with people not realizing if there's no hole in it for the sunshade clip, it's not an "A", it's a non-A. Audi being damn cheap again.

That said, if you're good with a dremel, the non-A and the A are the same base piece. The shade has no left/right wiggle. I'd mount the door card with the sunshade, then pull it up to the plastic, then mark a dead center of the pull tab. Then set the outline of the holder around that dead center and make your hole. Just don't make it too wide; notice there's tabs on one side of the hook to help "clip" it into the hole.

:-) I think these would just fit in my rear doors.

Though the cool part with the OEMs are you can have them up while the window is down. I do that with the sunroof; sunroof open for the air but the sunshade closed as it's ventilated.

I checked on wolf autoparts and it doesn’t seem to have the one with the hole they have like 5 of them listed I’ll give them a call though. Also like you said the confusion occurs cause the have Both numbers with the A without it in the same part.(why would they even do that🤦🏻*♂️)
If worst come and I can’t find I’ll probably do the the hole myself but is something I don’t want to for many reasons.

Integrated Rear Sunshade Retrofit A4 B8

Ok here’s my little DIY retrofit if anyone is interested on doing this.
I would like to thank smac770 for his help on finding the right parts in orders to do this.

So I started this with big fear that i am gonna fail miserably because I didn’t order the trims cover with the “hole” but wanted to actually try and figured it out if i can make the “holes” myself cause both trims they would cost more than $160 cheapest i found them were $80 each brand new because used they were none.
But I thought i would give a it a try and if i fail I’ll order the trims with the “hole”.

Ok on the main course now you’ll obviously need to remove the door panels and replace them with the ones that have the integrated sunshades
There are plenty YouTube videos on how to remove the panels, threads as well.
Tools needed for the actual job are just a

And a power drill to drill the door sheet metal

Parts are 2 brackets and 4 screws.

They are actually different for left and right but don’t worry you wont be able to mess them cause they actually say left or right on them.
Plus the two guides on the corner of the brackets makes it impossible to put it on the wrong side.
    Moving forward
I started by trying to make a dead hole on the trim by having the shade up and the bracket in the middle and also trying to mark with a marker the figure of the bracket but as every human being i only have two hands and after 30 minutes of struggling to perfectly align the bracket i was fed up and almost quit.
So I decided to to remove the trim from the door maybe this way i would do a better job trying to mark the bracket on the trim.
AND THAT WAS IT everything was there the whole time i didn’t even have to mark nothing.
The Trim has a figure of the bracket (thank you Audi)

And also the door has the the holes for the screws( thank you audi once again)

Everything is there ready for you just to make the hole and mount the bracket

I took my time cutting the hole so I don’t go over the edges.
I actually made the hole by cutting on the inside of the figure which later didn’t work out because the bracket wouldn’t go in so i had to cut the hole a little bit more.
Don’t worry if you make it just a little bit bigger cause once the bracket is on eliminates any tiny mistakes you might have made by covering on top of them.
Next put the trim on,mount the bracket and drill the holes with the power drill try and go slowly so you don’t wiggle left or right and that’s it.

Now roll the shade up and ENJOY!

Leave it to Audi to make two different part numbers for the (almost) same piece and then put both part numbers on each piece. Nice that it worked out much easier than anticipated.

has anyone transferred an oem rear sun shade to a non sunshade door panel? I am doing an s4 swap and doing all the door cards so the leather matches but the s4 set i picked up does not have the sunshade built in. Its been hard to find any info on this . Any help is greatly appreciated.

The window surround is the same for both, either the cutout is made or not. But for the door card, if you want the rear sunshade, probably better to get one for the purpose. You're the one with the two door cards in front of you. So you tell us, how do they differ? Does it appear you can create the cut and mount the shade on the new one? How is the hole trim mounted to the panel; can you transfer that?

well i have not got my s4 cards yet to actually compare them and i have yet to take my oem panel off to see what it looks like. im wondering if the panel has some sort of stencil or something on the inside to allow for cutting. There is just very little info on these and i have only seen someone try and fill the cut out since he did not have the oem shades. i might get everything this week.

That works for the window frame, where the no-rev for without the blind and the A-rev for with the blind are in fact the same piece, just whether or not the cutout is cut out.

And it looks like that might in fact be how the door panel is done as well.

11 and the screw below it are for retrofitting the hook to the window frame trim. And 9 would be that insert I was talking about for the hole in the door panel. No screws, looks like it just presses in: https://www.ebay.com/itm/125649754603
