    2011 Audi A4 Avant with 4.2 S5 V8 Conversion / CA Smog Legal

For sale is my 2011 Audi A4 Avant in Meteor Gray. This wagon features a 4.2l V8 engine conversion from an Audi S5 coupe and is paired to an automatic 6 speed S5 transmission. It has gone through testing with the California state smog referee and BAR this year and is certified for the engine conversion meaning its smog compliant! See the label on the last photo in the gallery below.

I bought this avant last July as a non running project. After a few months I had it running and by around Christmas time I had it running as a daily driver replacement for my B5. My commute is only a few miles each way but its also seen various trips around Southern California (from OC to San Diego, LA, etc) without any hiccups. Its a great driver and I am only looking to sell this because I have another project that I would prefer to take over daily duties.. and no where to park this now!

There is 94k miles on this chassis and around 100k on the drivetrain. There are no errors or warnings on the instrument display! Its a great OEM Plus kind of build, almost as if Audi made an S5 Avant (or a successor to the B7 S4.. with a better engine ) I had intended to keep this car simple without too many upgrades that take away from it being a solid daily.

Cosmetically it is in good shape but it is a 13 year old "family car" with near 100k miles. If you wanted to make it into a show car I would recommend repainting the front and rear bumper covers. There are no dings or dents on the body, but there are some small scratches throughout.. and the left rear 1/4 panel shows some evidence of repainting (the prior owner mentioned one of his kids scratched the panel or bumped something against it that called for repainting, he said it was minor)

    This wagon features:
    4.2l V8 from an S5
    6 Speed Automatic transmission
    S-Line exterior trims
S4 front grille (with S5 emblem for fun)
    Quad tip rear lower diffuser
S4 full alcantara black interior with door panels
    Black headliner conversion
    S5 leather steering wheel
    S5 B8.5 shift knob update
    S5 pedal cover set
    Tinted windows and windshield strip
    3G navigation retrofit
    Keyless entry retrofit
S5 19x9 Peeler wheels freshly refinished glossy silver
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires 255/35/19
S5 front and rear brake calipers with new Zimmerman drilled discs and Brembo ceramic (low dust) pads
    Brake fluid flush
RS5 front and rear anti roll bars (OEM)
New SPC front upper adjustable control arms aligned to oem spec
    New H&R Street Performance coilovers
New front lower leading and trailing control arm bushings (the arms themselves looked to be replaced within the last few years)
    New engine mounts
    New radiator
New spark plugs & ignition coils
Carbon cleaning and fuel injector cleaning
    New windshield wipers
    New tail lights
    New transmission fluid flush
    New rear differential oil service
... and probably more that I am forgetting.

Oil changed last week in anticipation for sale. Items listed new above have been replaced during the conversion or shortly after, and only have less than a year of use / a few thousand miles at most.

Rear wiper works, lights work, radio and navigation work, etc. AC blows cold, heat and heated seats work well. Panoramic roof works and sunshade slides with no issues.

Looking to get $18,500 for the car. Its a great price for a nice car if you consider what clean B8 avants go for plus the cost of the donor S5 and miscellaneous upgrades and goodies. Located in Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Can assist with shipping if needed. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere in the USA also.

For the underbody pics above, they were taken a few weeks ago. I just want to note since the photos I have replaced both front fender liners and lower retaining brackets, otherwise it still looks the same!
