It's nice that they are installing the same Magnaride trick rear diff in the '25 S3's now too I believe, the same one as in our 8Y RS3's.

Nice ! From what I understand it could sometimes move sooner so you never know !
You should still have time to enjoy it this summer

Have to agree...I think a CPO S3 is going to be pretty nice option tbh.
It's nice to share a lot of parts across with VW. It might not hold the same value as a RS3 but to keep it running down the road, I am sure it will be a relief to know you have a massive relief to know you can pay VW prices instead of Audi

Amazing, we are looking at the close of Q1 and not a peep from the four rings as to when the RS3 will hit the US shores...

Wish there were enough people here to bother them on AudiUSA social media accounts. Would have to be a lot of people asking where is the RS3 on each of their posts but even then that would only slowly make its way up the chain to someone who could do something about it lol. I even tried to find who the Audi USA RS manager is on LinkedIn. My "investigation" came up empty lol😅

I've emailed the people on the bottom of the official Audi newsletter and like my wife, they never listened to me.

Just a heads up that my dealer (US) emailed me this morning and said they just received one allocation for an RS3. Still no order guide or pricing but coming soon. I'm second on the list.

I'm going to pass unless we somehow get the carbon buckets (99% sure we won't) because I have a '24 and don't like the new steering wheel and prefer the pre-facelift headlights/front end/wheels.

But reassuring for those who are interested in the '25! I'm curious to see where pricing will end up.

Yes USA. I didn't ask about timeline as I decided not to order. But since it is in fact a '25 MY car, I would guess late summer or fall delivery.

Ugh I was hoping for earlier in the summer. I want to enjoy the summer with my very loud Kyalami green RS3 lol. I assume they are being produced with the Canada cars, as it just makes sense from an efficiency standpoint.

Curious for people who were keeping track back in 22, when did the 23's open up for order books? I know the 22s came out with like 200-300 pre-spec cars and I feel like the same may happen here. Just curious on how quick that MY shift happened. Hard to imagine why anyone wouldn't just wait a few months to have a '26 model year if they're so close together.

EDIT: Also just checked in and got confirmation with my dealer that they received the order guide. It's happening.

Interesting that the order guide shows the '25 as having 394 hp. I wonder if it's a mistake (copy-paste from Europe specs?) or if hp is actually down slightly from the pre-facelift (and in line with Europe). Not that it matters in the real world, but it would be interesting if it was technically rated for less

I read somewhere that it has to do with meeting emissions regulations. Remember Canadians didn’t get it because of this so my best guess is that they are pushing the same one down south instead of making 2 different versions for North America.

What? They are literal .jpegs of the order guide. Not links to anywhere.

Just want to add that my dealer just called me a couple hours ago and said the order guide is available, AND they have an allocation (2 cars). My salesman goes, "how soon can you get down here to go over all the details?" I arrived at the dealer 40 minutes later. Lol

Anyway, I placed my order (I've been first on the wait-list for quite some time). They told me I'll get updates as they come along, but they're expecting them to actually arrive in about 8 months.

I took a picture of the order guide they printed up for me, but for some reason I can't upload it onto this site via my phone. I'll try again from my computer (though I'm sure it's not different than what was posted above).

Feeling pretty excited right now! I was beginning to consider something dumb like waiting for the new M2 😉

8 months?? Did you get your allocation build number? If you don't by tomorrow then I'd question if they actually HAVE an open allocation. Trust me I went thru this folly with BMW. These guys will BS you and telling you 8 months sounds to me they are hoping for an allocation in a few months so they are padding delivery expectations. Hoping I'm wrong brother

8 months is absolutely wild if they actually have an allocation open.

Yup, order is placed, It's all official - I've selected all my options and got my number and everything. I understand and respect your caution, however, considering how long we've all been waiting.

As for as the 8 months thing, I think they were trying to be extremely cautious and not too excited/optimistic because they've been feeling a little shy after not receiving *any* RS3 related information for so long. I feel pretty confident it will come much sooner than that. Once I get a build date I'll post it here.

EDIT: Here is the order guide they printed for me. Looks the same as what's listed above.

This is my first time dealing with Audi so y'all tell me if any of these are red flags from my dealer.

    Audi Care 1799 - High?

Tire and Wheel protection 2500 for 48 months - Also feels high, no?

Markup $2500 - Someone please tell you placed your order with a markup to make me feel better.

Oh and they asked for $5K non-refundable deposit

My dealer didn't place any markup. They're selling it at MSRP for me. I'm sorry!! :c

Edit: Also only needed a $1k deposit, refundable. To be fair, I found a LOT of dealers who weren't nearly as easy going as this one - Audi dealers like mine are certainly few and far between in my experience.

When i was still on the list my dealer was offering MSRP.

You can get discounts on competitor cars, don't let these guys off the hook.

Audicare used to be a great deal when it was $800, it no longer is.

The tire and wheel protection package is negotiable. I usually try to get to the price of 1 tire and wheel combined as a barometer for a good deal. Sometimes they are willing, sometimes you can't get there.

5k non refundable is an insult.

I'm in a high demand market, I'll just say that for now. One dealer I called is looking for a $10K markup so I almost consider myself lucky even though it's absolutely not ideal

The non-refundable deposit is indeed the absolute worst part. I'm committed to the car, I just want to protect myself if for some reason I get laid off or something. It's not like they won't sell the car if I back out anyway. Don't get it. Going to try to fight it tomorrow, haven't agreed to it yet. Wish me luck.

Paying a markup in 2025 is crazy. No way I'd pay that. My dealer is MSRP

I also wouldn't buy the tire and wheel unless you can get it sub $1K. I got it down to $500 once and that felt like a no brainer.

The Audicare price is correct but I personally wouldn't buy it unless you have zero good independent shops by you. A good indie will do a better job for less money.

There is zero way I'd do a nonrefundable deposit, the car is not going to be here for months and a lot can change in the world in that time — including the potential for dumb tariffs

But emissions here are different so it’d be dumb if they all of a sudden just ignored that and sent the US a slightly neutered version now.

Good points. Going to push back on the deposit and markup in the morning. I'm in SoCal so I feel the markup is more easily implemented. We'll see. Hard to tell if there's someone behind me on the list which makes it harder to negotiate.

    There’s no such thing

Any order submitted gets a commission number. Doesn’t matter if there’s an allocation or not. It’s a useless number, only for purposes of internal tracking prior to their being a vin. It’s not a guarantee of a car, or of anything else

Hey man, as long as you received your build code then you're golden. Glad it's actually happening!! Good for you and all.

    Audi Care 1799 - High?

Tire and Wheel protection 2500 for 48 months - Also feels high, no?

Markup $2500 - Someone please tell you placed your order with a markup to make me feel better.

Oh and they asked for $5K non-refundable deposit

They have to refund you up until delivery of the vehicle. If you never received the product they have no right to keep your money. And $5k down is nuts tbh.

Absolutely nuts, makes my $500 CAD refundable deposit sound like an insane deal
