Fixed the AC, or so I thought

Two weeks ago my AC stopped working. I did a scan and the code 00256 popped up, sensor for refrigerant pressure/temp sensor. So i replaced the sensor and the AC was working again. I've since ran the AC only two times with no issues. Last time being yesterday on the drive home. Today however it will not kick on again. Its technically possible it could be a bad switch again but I'm guessing not likely. The scan showed the same code 00256 and also fault code 00457, Control Module for Network (J519): No Signal/Communication. It sounds like possibly wiring? What should I be checking, if we assume the sensor is fine?

You need to take a look at the pins in that sensor connector first and make sure they are seated. I am seeing pins backing out of the connectors on this generation VAG car. Correction: I am seeing it more and more in literally every car manufacturer for cars made after the early to mid 2010's. I wouldn't be surprised if the pins have backed out and are not making contact (or not making good contact).

Is the no comms error for the CECM/J519 a history code or current? I believe CECM does work in conjunction with the climate control module in this generation but if that is not a current code then it may not be related.
