Allroad questions before I buy B9.5

I’m shopping hard for a 2021 to 2024 Audi A4 Allroad such as this one I found in my local area (2021 Premium Plus). Previously owned two B5 A4’s, a MK6 GTI and a MK7 GTI. Can anyone help me with some questions?

    - Towing; is there something specific about the 7 speed automatic transmission that makes towing ill-advised or not possible? I’ve heard multiple reports that this Allroad specifically “not rated for towing”. Or, is it simply the issue I had with my mk7 GTI; an overly cautious manufacture that doesn’t want warranty issues.

    - Rear emblems; can all of them be the ‘badged’ such as most Audi’s? I .e. Glued on not riveted.

    - Wiper delete; I plan on performing this just the same way as I did on my MK7 GTI w/ a plug. Anyone have issues doing this?

    - Tune; I’ve spoke with APR twice, no tune yet because of the hybrid style motor. Anyone have input/comments? What a shame so far.

    - Bumper swap; Is the front bumper interchangeable with any other B9/B9.5 even with the AllRoad's plastic wheel-well trim?

    - General comments; regarding the Allroad A4 B9.5 model, how do you like yours? :-)

Audi USA has never supported towing for the A4 and A5 cars, though Audi AG has factory installed hitches for the same vehicles. There's tow hitch options out there. Typical limits for the cars are 2000 lbs trailer and 200 lbs tongue. No VW uses the same DCTs as the longitudinal engine Audis. And the B9 DL382 is not the same as the B8 DL501.

Tuning options for the DPAA motor (MY21-MY24) are going to be less common than for the CYMC motor (MY18-MY20).

The grill could use a better look, but that bumper, which is akin to the B9.5 standard bumper, is far better than the ugly B9.5 sport bumper. Believe the only difference is the wheel well arch trim, but can't confirm that for a B9.

Do note, the B9 A4 allroad does not have a center differential like "real" quattro. It uses quattro ultra, which is basically a longitudinal equivalent to Haldax. But you're used to that if you've had VWs.

I figured as much about the towing. I'd only ever pull a 5x8 trailer with an ATV on it, which comes in at ~ 1,850 LBS gross weight total.

Agreed, the sport bumper on the current regular A4's. That honey comb grill may be worth it in the future. My B5 had a full RS4 kit; so I'm spoiled.

Fingers crossed for the tune tho.
