APR ULTRALINK & TCU Stage 1 review

Received my ultra link today. Downloaded an update to it and went out to my garage to flash the TCU stage 1 tune. Took her for a quick drive in almost rush-hour traffic and the car still up shifts very quickly in drive mode, in sport mode, I didn’t sense the typical farts when medium acceleration, dynamic mode it shifts very firm but not shockingly. Downshifts are more of a rev match and much smoother. Overall, very pleased with both units.
I went to update my ECU tune to add crackle just to see how it was and there was no option for it so kind of disappointed in that , but overall, the TCU was flashed within five minutes no issues and the car does drive smoother.
Hopefully APR adds more options to the TCU and ECU flashing.
I will hook up my dragy unit and take it out to the country to see if my 0 to 60 times improved later.

i noticed the downshifts are considerably more aggressive in sport, with audible rev matching going on. Certainly more "fun"

Updated to 93 today and the shift farts are back????
Wondering if any time we do an update we have to do both at the same time?

Did anyone receive an update from Ultralink that there is support for the ZF8 8W0927158BC S0003? Tried flashing it as it is the code I have and failed at 99%. Afterwards I realized the PS mode on the charger wasn't running and wondering if that was the cause? Battery most likely have dipped below 12V but not more than 11.6-9V for sure. APR support helped me recover successfully, but forgot to ask with all the anxiety. He just told me that not all TCUs are supported.

EDIT: Talked to APR again and now I understand. The box code they have a file for does not mean the actual TCU is supported unfortunately as the same code is used across different model years. I feel like a kid whose Christmas gifts were taken away
