Air Suspension Compressor Inoperative needs replacement

2018 C7.5 S6 41k miles. Rear is squatted, front is still holding air. Anyone change out their compressor from under the car? Do I need to change out the compressor line repair kit (4G0698306) if not damaged? Should i test the relay (4H0951253) first, or just replace as well. Also is the relay under the steering wheel, or back in the trunk? Vagcom to refil the bags afterwords and im done? Audi is looking for $3152 for this citing 4 hours labor. Any guidance is appreciated

Relay is in the trunk behind the small removable cubby panel on the right. Pretty easy to access, and you should replace the relay when the compressor needs replacement. It doesn't hurt to replace it first to see if that is the actual problem either.

Compressor is fairly easy access underneath the rear of the car. If you have ramps to save the time of jacking up the car, it can be swapped out comfortably in 30 minutes. My lines were undamaged and I did not replace my lines when I replaced my compressor. Have had no problems. I was able to refill my suspension and clear faults with VCDS. Probably similar functionality in Vagcom, check to see if the ability to air up front/ rear is available to be sure. It did take more than one command to pressurize airbags for me to get it filled.
