    Knock Sensor Fault

Not sure if all the work I did recently caused this, initially I had both down stream o2's trigger 2 codes each as expected for the cat-less DPs only once but got the G199 twice. I did replace the valve cover gaskets but I didn't have any issues last time I replaced them. Plug at the front of the motor is seated fine from the looks of it, since I didn't touch it to begin with, not sure if there was damage due to age or I broke something while replacing the left side gasket.

Info from VCDS with freeze frame data:

Interesting... swapped in some new coils, started it and no light. Haven't cleared it officially since it came back on the second time for the P132B. Wonder if it's coincidence or bad coil(s) was the issue, just not sure how bad coil(s) would cause a bad fault for the knock sensor...

Soooooo.... it went away on its own prior to my departure for my work trip and didn't have the time to properly shoot the wires to check for continuity and voltage, scanned and the code didn't appear again. I suspect some of the work I did may have revealed a new issue but won't be able to verify until I get back and do a compression test and get new plugs on top of shooting the wires. The work in question is when I used seafoam/b12 down the cylinders to try and clean/remove oil/carbon build up from the rings to try and reduce oil burning.

It did come back prior to replacing the secondary o2 sensors on both banks when I got home. Think I'm good now as I have to deal with the new bank 1 secondary but as I'm leaving again I won't get a chance to investigate further and see if I get the knock sensor code again. Will probably replace both primary o2 sensors during summer or when I swap out the clutch as I suspect they are the originals.

Replaced both upstream o2's and got the same knock sensor faulting, different code. Cleared it to see if it returns.

Driving today had a quick on/off of the CEL and EPC light turned on, got to a light to turn the engine off/on and didn't come back. Haven't checked if there is a code yet. Wondering if the sensor is bad or there is short but can't diagnose it yet. If I can get may hands on an actual schematic that would be great. Car runs "fine" but I can hear the issue from the exhaust on cold start ups and idle some times, think there is a hiccup or pause around 2-3k but not sure.

After coming back from dropping someone off, had a quick on/off flash of both EPC and CEL.
