Thoughts on custom wheel design a la b9 rs5 comp

Been shopping for replacement wheels and comparing monoblock wheels from Titan7, BBS, HRE, Vossen, and BC forged. But also had a Redditor render a custom modular wheel design based on the b9 comp wheels, but in a two piece with partially hidden hardware.

My thoughts are that it looks a tiny bit busy, but may decide to tune it down with solid full brushed face to broaden out the visual proportions—vs black contrast contouring—with high gloss lip? Here’s the render(note the render doesn’t show the face separation from the outer lip) and also a shitty photoshop using a stolen image of another prism silver rs5(probably a forum member here, sorry for borrowing it!)

Thoughts on custom wheel design a la b9 rs5 comp

For anyone wondering — the company that makes custom wheels designs is called Precision Forged out of Bakersfield CA, wheels made in China . This set I believe would cost $3500 give or take a couple bucks, and a guesstimated weight of 27-29 pounds — vs the Titan7 ts5 20x10 that are under $3k and weigh around 24 pounds. I’m leaning towards the titan7 for quality/value/weight, but they don’t offer in silver in the 20”.
