The time for new pads and probably rotors (a lot of chattering) for my 2017 A6 2.0. The choices seem to be endless as is the range of $$. I use the car for a daily driver with a little spirited driving once in awhile if I can find the right roads. Can someone give me some help on what I need? OEM replacements? Performance? Brand of rotors and pads? I have been shopping Rock Auto rather than the Audi "boutique" stores which seem to sell performance stuff which costs a fortune. Rock Auto lists Centric, Bosch, Dynamic Friction, and Power Stop to name a few in their Daily Driver selection. Their Premium section lists Bosch QuietCast and Power Stop Z23 Evolution Sport as pads for the A6. As for rotors their daily driver selection has fully coated Power Stop, Bosch, Centric, etc. Their rotor and pad kits seem like a good deal. Choices are the same bunch, i.e. Power Stop, Centric, Dynamic Friction, R1 Concepts, etc. I don't believe I need to invest in cross drilled or drilled and slotted rotors unless you guys persuade me that they are worth it for performance and longevity.... Thanks in advance for the advice.
