Exclamation Product Introduction - A4, S4, Allroad LED Taillight Packages...

Since all of the models that we get here in North America have arrived I wanted to introduce a cleaner European solution to the clunky taillights we get here that have the combined brake and turn functions which cannot be separated sadly:

    • Genuine Post-Facelift Equipment and Function
    • Proper Rest of World Functionality
    • Discrete Orange Turn Signals for Added Safety
    • No Ugly Standard Blinking Brake Light with Turn Signals
    • Packages Available for Sedan and Avant Models
    • Exclusive Packages for North American Models
    • No Problematic Coding Dongles or Replacement BCM2 Modules
    • Minor Wiring is Required for Installation - Wiring Components Included
    • VCP (Vag Can Pro) is required for setting proper functionality.
Allroad - Taillight Package | Allroad LED

    Sedan - Taillight Package | A4, S4 LED (Sedan)

    Information:
Genuine European LED taillights with discrete sweeping turn signal functionality. All functions are separated allowing for the orange turn signal to sweep on it's own. Taillights are combined with the needed wiring components to allow for a seamless installation for North American Allroad models. Instructions included for wiring installation to each outer taillight to the control module. VCP (Vag Can Pro) is required for proper functionality and step by step instructions are included to set the proper parameters.

The blackline taillights are both now available for the sedan and Allroad models for North American owners:

Taillight Package | A4, S4 LED Blackline (Sedan)

Oddly for 2018 these models sold in North America no longer have the rear fog light function. All of the B9 taillight packages now have the option for the 2018+ models to add the rear fog light functionality. This does require a new headlight switch and some added wiring into the trunk.

Also available now discounted with each taillight kit is Vag Can Professional (VCP) which is required to set the proper taillight parameters for these kits:

    Interface | Vag Can Professional
(Can be added at a discount in the taillight product page)

Exclamation Just a few new sets left...

The Blackline taillights were discontinued by Audi early 2022, but luckily a last few brand new sets have been sourced for sedan owners...

Taillight Package | A4, S4 LED Blackline (Sedan)

Genuine equipment dark and clear European LED taillights with discrete sweeping turn signal functionality. All functions are separated allowing for the orange turn signal to sweep on it's own. For North American models the missing rear fog light can be added in along with the needed European headlight switch to make this functional. Taillights are combined with the needed components to allow for a seamless installation for all A4 and S4 sedan models.

Only a limited few sets left so if you have been searching around for these don't miss out!

The real question is are the reverse lights actual bright enough to be useful. The factory B9.5 ones are pitiful, when backing up the brake lights throw more light than the reverse lights do. LOL I haven't had a chance to look in VCDS for a brightness setting.

Doubtful there is a brightness setting unfortunately. The generation before with adaptation channels you could change brightness to a degree but these cars use paratermization for taillight functions which leaves little to tinker with.

With that said I've never noticed a lack of reverse lighting but these are all clear lights. Maybe someone in this thread could let you know how they are:

The S5 Sportback project had the equivalent Blackline lights and I was always good with the reverse lights at night.

Other than the reprogramming that is needed, are these plug and play? Namely, are there any modifications that need to be done to the vehicle like cutting harnesses, running cables, etc?

North American models require two wires be run from each outer taillight to the module at the left side of the trunk. If adding the rear fog light function then one wire needs to be run from the left inner taillight to that same module on the left side of the trunk, but adding the new headlight switch with the rear fog light function requires no added wiring.
