I’ve searched all over (here and Google) and am just having trouble finding an answer to this one. Long story short - here is what Ross-tech vcds is reporting:

Backstory - this all start with a turbo waste gate malfunction. I needed to replace the turbo and since the motor has 150k on it (at least the bolt on parts due, Audi replaced the block at 50k due to the oil consumption issue they were having) I figured it was more then time to due some maintenance. So, I put the car in service mode and replaced the turbo, timing chain, balance shaft chain, high pressure fuel pump, water pump, injectors, coils and spark plus. I also did a walnut shell carbon clean on the intake valves. After doing all that I now have the above mentioned issue. Car is idling fine and revs to 4500 rpm fine (I didn’t go higher as it is still on the my Quick Jacks).
First start after doing all that it idled ok for a bit and then started running really rough. I stopped it and pulled the codes and got the P2008 as well as misfires in all the cylinders and a rough idle code. I then made sure the actuator for the runner flap arm was moving by manually moving it in and out. It seemed a little stuck at first (maybe?) but then moved fine. After doing that and clearing the codes it ran fine but gave me the P2008 code with no CEL.
I’m hoping someone here can give some advice. I plan on driving it tomorrow and see if it goes into limp mode at higher rpm. I’m thinking at 150k on the manifold, it might be worth it to just replace the entire manifold or should I just do the upper manifold? Thought?
Thanks for your help all!
Jeff
