Best Mirror mount for radar detector

Hello! I’m trying to find a mirror mount for our 2015 Audi Q5 Premium Plus that is compatible for BEL & Escort radar detectors.

We’ve tried the suction cup windshield mounts which work well; but as we’re in FL the heat/sun breaks down the plastics so they last a year if we’re lucky.

Many of the metal mirror mounts available on Amazon require around an inch of stalk from the mirror to the windshield and the Q5 mirror doesn’t have anything like that.

    Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you tried Blend Mount ? I know they make them for the Q5 I'm just not sure if they support your detector.

Thanks for the suggestion…I’m looking at them now. Based on what I’ve seen the quality looks superior making it a one time purchase which is exactly what I need.

    Thanks again

I have my Uniden R7 hanging from one, and it's a great piece of hardware.
