    Flooded B8 S5 from Copart

    Hello group!
I recently picked up 2011 S5 with 6sp manual and 4.2L from copart. It was labeled as flood/water damage and a non runner.
When it arrived I immediately noticed where water entered from and as suspected it was ECU box. After charging battery and trying to crank it I noticed that everything seems to work but it has no crank no start and no communication with ECU.
I’m terrible with electronics so I’m looking for some advice and guidance on troubleshooting ways to make sure ECU is fried and no just some relay or fuse that popped and prevents power going to ECU.
Everything else seems to work. Radio / windows / locks / cluster / lights.

I’ve replaced all the relays in the ECU tray just for good measure. I had some laying around that are known to be good. I’ve checked every fuse and only found 2 popped ones for cigarette lighter.

Is there a way to bypass relays and manually crank starter to rule out bad starter?

    Suggestions / questions / advice ?
