So, I thought my car only supported gasoline 91 octane or higher. I did not think it supported Flex Fuel. When I do a VIN lookup it doesn't say anything about E85 and same thing when I reviewed the window sticker. However, the user manual says to check the gas cap. When I checked the cap, it says ethanol fuel and/or unleaded gasoline. Needless to say, I was a little shocked to see this. Why did Audi take this approach? Is there any other way to verify that it definitely supports E85 without taking it to the dealer? What if somebody replaced the fuel filler door due to an accident? Just seems wild that they would expect the consumer to only rely on this one sticker.

Is your intake manifold plastic or metal?

The stick clearly says you can use E85. If you don't believe Audi, then check for the intake to be metallic. If you still don't believe that, check the build options label in your trunk and look for engine code CPMA.

If you have the E85 version, congrats! You will get more power instantly just by pumping ethanol. If you chip it with APR stage 1, you'll get 313 HP / 388 ft-lbs without doing anything else. 2013 stock S5 only has 333 hp / 325 ft-lbs.

Thanks, to you both. I confirmed last night that it does have a metal intake. Looks like I'll be calling APR this week.
