My wife took the Q3 to take my son to daycare couple of days ago. When she got back home. The Q3 been parked for a good 4-5hrs. When I got home from work. I notice the mirrors were not folded in. I figure the Q3 was unlocked. I always carry the second key fob with me. I tried to lock it and nothing happen. So I went into the house and when my wife went to go take the Q3 to pick up our son. The vehicle won't start. She drove my Benz to go pick him up.

After some investigating on the Q3. I had to jump it. It was a quick jump and the motor started up. I let it idle for a good 10-15min then I took it for a 10min road test. When I got back I decided to replace both keyfob battery. Yesterday around 3am. I decided to start up the Q3 and it turn over with no issue. My wife was driving the Q3 all day yesterday and she had no issue with it.

Here is the weirdest thing the Audi Dealer replace the battery 6 month ago. I forgot to mention it's a push/start.

On the Security Alarm side is there a back up battery in the siren on these vehicles? Where is the siren is located? Is there anything else I need to look out for or you think it was both keyfob had the original battery inside them?

No battery backup for the security alarm horn/siren.
