I got this car recently (1999.5 A4) and the headlights are pointed off in weird directions and neither of them changes when you use the adjusters. You can screw the adjusters each way until it starts to become hard to turn, but the headlights don't move at all. Does anyone know if I remove the whole headlight module, is it possible to fix the headlight adjuster mechanisms? Like is there a threaded rod that just needs to be screwed back into where it goes? Has anyone tried this? I hate to have to replace both headlight modules.
