R8/TTRS steering wheel in a C7 A7?

Anyone here replaced their steering wheel with an aftermarket R8/TTRS steering wheel? I'm thinking about ordering one from China on eBay, but a bit worried obviously.

I swapped from a four spoke heated w/o paddles to the 3 spoke heated w/ paddles. During my searching around prior to doing it I found a guy who had bought a similar looking steering wheel to the one you linked. He told me he chatted with the supplier thru whatsapp and had it custom made/shipped from China to the US. It included the airbag for it too. No idea if that one you linked would fit directly but there’s sellers out there who do make what you’re looking for.

I did this in my C7, although i can't speak to any difficulties you may experience with the China wheel as I got mine from Europrice. You will also need an $800-1000 airbag and a $500 module made by Ambrace in Belgium to allow the wheel to communicate with the car. The whole project cost me about $3500 including a new genuine wheel.

If you want a possibility of all the buttons to work, I'd avoid hardware that is not authentic. Ambrace is in Europe so you can buy from them direct or a Euro dealer.
