Does anyone know what this clicking noise around the back of the exhaust is? It happens when I lock or unlock the car. Any help is appreciated 🙏

    Thanks

It's the exhaust valve actuator motors. One or both of them. One of mine did that once when it died and I had to buy a new one. They also both did it on mine recently when I swapped them over to a different exhaust. I had to plug in the vcds and run the manual test to open and close them. That reset them and they're good to go. Having them click like that will set soft codes which you'll see in a vcds scan. Those soft codes will limit boost and power until they're fixed and codes cleared.

When that happened on my car it needed a new motor on the passenger side (J883 P14AB00). The other side was jammed and needed to be freed up. The car was more quiet with both exhaust valves being faulty. My car pulled power when the exhaust valves were not perfect. Not sure how it is possible for the exhaust valves to operate ok when there are 3 clicks as in the video (I also had 3 clicks).
