But 01E is a 6speed manual also. I mean sure if the bushing are worn they can be sloppy, but with a decent kit and shorter throw I think its plenty stout for just about anything and just as good. Definitely proven also I haven't heard much about the 02X but that may be because I havent been down that rabbit hole yet. Always loved the 01E.
