    a/c problem/ help

so obviously it being summer i wanted to use the a/c in my b7. had replaced a few o rings and a line. so after that i was able to charge the system, and everything was good. after about 4-5 days the a/c was not working as it should. wasn't warm, but not cold. checked my pressures and it didn't leak any refrigerant. scanned the vehicle with VAG COM and no codes. nothing. i'm just wondering if there is something else i can look for. i was going to check the high pressure sensor but i didn't know if the b7 is to old for the vehicle to throw a code for the hvac system. any thoughts or ideas i'm open to all

I had mine recharged the other day, like yours blew ice cold for a few days and then not warm but not cold. Haven't had a chance to hook Vag Com up yet and haven't got any pressure gauges although the shop that filled it said there weren't any leaks.

what were your pressure readings ? that is key , post your low and high readings here. Also what did it get filled with 134 ? or the new HC-12A ? it takes less 12A to get the equivalent cooling to a 134 system so i dont know if that has caused issues.. I think this is a mechanical issue, dont think vcds will tell you anything. if you have set to max cold it wont look at the ambient cabin , just crank the AC as cold as it can , so its a function of your AC.

im running 33/150 on HC 12A with a vent temp of 50C .

certainly not ideal , but i was indicating full charge and i didnt want to push my luck so i left it .

make sure your fans are working .. and if your lines are frozen in the engine bay your pressures are low.. that how i know mine were.
