The Q7 section here is pretty quiet. I found it much more active over on audiworld. Try there. I’d ask to speak to the service manager. If you’ve already done that, you may have to go to Audi NA. I would think dealerships would want to do warranty work. They get paid regardless. I had extensive work done under the TDI warranty at my local dealer.

They covered my upper oil pan reseal. But that was early on at 32,000 miles and still under CPO warranty. I do not believe the upper oil pan or any oil leak is covered by the diesel gate extended warranty that I can remember. Other than a failing turbo or possible EGR issue. If you are talking about an Audi purchased extended warranty coverage, then that sounds like you need to take that up with the warranty company. As far as the diesel gate I'm pretty sure it will not cover the upper oil pan leak. Not a fun job its an engine out service.

Good luck getting anything out of AOA as of the last few years. Their customer service has gone away, which is sad. I just switched from my 2013 TDI Q7 (which AOA was great along with my dealer taking care of most any issue while still under both warranties no questions asked.) to a 2019 3.0 SC Q7 that was CPO as well. In the first month of owing the 2019 Q7 ( mind you, it only had 20,000 miles and still had a temp tag on it), it thru a code for cylinder 1 misfire. Had it towed in because it ran horrible.
Long storry short, the dealer looked at it and told me it needed new spark plugs at the cost of just under $800.00 because they are a wear item and not covered under warranty. I asked the service writer what the required service replacement was on the plugs. He proceeded to tell me it was 60,000 miles and 6 yrs. We went back and forth multiple times me stating that it was premature and a parts failure not worn out. I had the same conversations with AOA. After just over a week with no car and endless conversations with dealer and AOA, they actually told me yes, it was a defective part, but in the end, they don't cover wear items. So, in the end, their solution was I pay for the one bad spark plug and the diagnostic time, and they would cover the labor to replace the 1 bad spark plug.

So it ended up costing me $220.00 and just over a week of lost vehicle use to have them replace a defective plug on an almost new to me CPO vehicle, even after they admitted it was a defective part.

Sorry for the rant, but I think that, like most things nowadays cost goes up, and customer care/service is no longer a thing.
