    Timing advance gauge in OBDevelen

Is anyone using the timing advance in OBDeleven? It shows -1.5 to 2 degree relative to #1 cylinder at idle, but when I well slowly to about 4k it reads up to 30 degree to #1 cylinder. Is that normal? When I did a light pull in second gear I saw it somewhere 15 to 25 or so.

Seems fine to me. It's in a closed loop so the ECU will be advancing timing quite a bit in normal driving to be efficient and pulling it back as you bring the load up. There's a variety of reasons ECU may have negative idle timing (i.e. warm up cats on a cold start, manage idle rpm, etc...), not sure what the strategy is for on these cars but I see the same thing with my VADPro gauges.

Appreciate the details! Really helps out to learn. In my area it was also 90+ degree outside, one of thoughts was it might be weather related, but I just don't know enough yet to make auch assumption.
