    Hello,
Installing cameras now from the RSNAV 360. Any suggestions on where to install the camera on a stock 2012 S4 grill? Pictures?
    Thanks

I only ever seen one guy on youtube doing this, he used the grill logo mounting bracket to mount the camera, if you search on youtube you'll find it.

    Here it is:

Thanks. I am following that video to install all other cameras. Except, he has a mesh grill. I have the stock grill. The video is very detailed.

Can you see what the name of the 360 camera app is and maybe what the icon looks like? I updated my rsnav and now the app is gone so my cameras don't work. -_-

To answer your question, though, I couldn't find a way to use the included mounting brackets for the front camera. My foglight grills were loose and popped out super easy, and someone suggested using caulking to kind of "glue" the grills in.

That worked amazing, so I figured I'd try that for the camera. I put some black caulking on the top of the camera and just pushed it into place on the bottom of one of the grill slats and it worked perfectly. The angle was perfect on the display before I updated it and lost the app.

I can take a picture of it tomorrow to show you.

I added some pics, idk why the site rotated them. I also have a 2012 S4. Like I said, I just put some caulking on the top of the camera, without a bracket, and smooshed it up onto the bottom of one of the grill slats. I did this before having to do random driving to set the readiness monitors to smog the car. Took it up to 70mph before it fully cured, and it didn’t move at all. It’s been a couple weeks, and now it’s rock solid, no movement, looks OEM.

    Thanks for the pictures.

I still not finished with the RSNAV install. I work on the this for about 30 to 60 minutes at a time. Today, I removed the stock screen, radio, and AC controls, plus ducts.

All cables have been run to include the four cameras, GPS, and 4G antennas. For the front grill camera, I ended up making a space right below the two right rings. As you look at your pictures, the rings closest to your camera.

I used two sided tape, very thin, and if need be I will move the camera.

Sorry I could not help you on the camera app. Once I completely install and turn on I will get familiar with the RSNAV. A concern is update instructions as they are not very clear. Wire diagrams are the same but I will manage.

So far the most difficult part has been installing the mirror cameras, followed by the cutting and making the connections of the mirror camera wires as they go in from the door to the inside of the cabin. Hope my crimping was good.

Finally installed everything. Just need to calibrate cameras. The app as shown is labeled 360° View. Version 2.21.546.

I will not update RSNAV until I verify what is being updated. I did try looking for the 360° View but had no luck.

    Also, Front camera grill location.
